David Weaver graduated from Louisiana State University in 2009 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, he was a Lead designer at a Consulting Firm where he designed HVAC and plumbing systems for various commercial projects. At Mid-South Equipment he now researches and designs HVAC mechanical equipment to meet both engineer and contractor requirements in both large and small projects. He communicates directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments in order to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new HVAC equipment. David has a solid technical background and is an equity partner at Mid-South Equipment.
Allen Laird graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1996 with a B.S. in Industrial Technology. With several valuable years of industrial sales experience came to Mid-South Equipment to work in Outside Sales. At Mid-South Equipment, he works closely with engineers, mechanical contractors, and building owners. Allen touches everything in the sales sector, including, reviewing plans and specs to develop HVAC systems solutions, consulting on value engineered alternatives as needed, providing direct customer support, and much more. Allen is dedicated to the industry and is an equity partner at Mid-South Equipment.
Kelly Hasney graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2002 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After occupying various important roles at Siemens Building Technologies for 8 years, Kelly was brought in as the Vice President of Mid-South Equipment in 2002. Kelly consults on HVAC systems and equipment design for a wide range of projects, and works with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals as needed to create and/or modify design parameters. He will analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation. He also oversees the sales department and is an equity partner at Mid-South Equipment.
Shelly Hasney graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2002 with a B.S. in Secondary Education. After finishing her education, Shelly worked as a special needs teacher and a high school biology teacher in New Orleans and Hammond for 5 years. In 2007, she moved on to fill several positions at Mid-South Equipment Sales & Services as an Administrative Assistant, Aftermarket Salesperson, and Office Manager. Today, Shelly occupies the role of President, and her responsibilities include directing public relations, directing the company’s financial goals and budgets, overseeing all operational areas of the company, and much more. Shelly is knowledgeable of every aspect of the company’s operations and is an equity partner at Mid-South Equipment.
