Mission Statement

Mid-South Equipment, Inc. is a manufacturer's representative for many top brand HVAC manufacturing companies. Mid-South Equipment, Inc. represents a wide range of HVAC products and can provide our customers with equipment ranging from PTAC's to air cooled chillers. We work closely with the factories we represent to select and provide our customers with the best product for their HVAC needs.

Our History

Mid-South Equipment Engineering, Inc. once owned and operated by F.H. (Spud) Spaulding, which started operations in 1969. Through the years, manufacturers such as Chrysler, Temtrol, TempMaster, Air Therm, Williams Comfort Products, and many others were represented.

With the death of F.H. (Spud) Spaulding in 2000, operation of the company was transferred to Kelly J. Hasney, Sr. and the name modified to Mid-South Equipment, Inc. After the change in ownership and having retained all of the existing lines, this company has been expanding with the addition of Kelly J. Hasney, Jr. in 2001, John Munoz and Philip Saladino in 2006, Jimmy Cochran in 2009, Angela Lumetta in 2010 and most recently John Seruntine.

In recent years, our representation has expanded to include Wing, Strion Air, Carnes, Secure Air, Addison, and McQuay to name a few. Most recently we became the local McQuay Parts Distributor.

Product lines that are represented by Mid-South Equipment, Inc. are currently being specified by engineering offices in covered territory. The following Louisiana parishes are covered but not limited to: Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, and New Orleans. The following Mississippi counties are represented: Pearl River, Hancock, Harrison, Stone, Jackson and George.
All sales personnel have field experience working on and/or with HVAC equipment
Sales personnel have attended factory training in sections per products
All Sales personnel are members of ASHRAE
Degreed Mechanical Engineer as well as a ASHRAE Board Member on staff
